Eternity Road
Graham and I both had an unexpectedly successful day trip to Whanganui Bay on Sunday. We both managed to lead Eternity Road, which is a classic trad 22 (5.11b according the conversion chart in the guidebook) finger crack. We both took a few rests (I took a few more than Graham) but fairly certain we can redpoint it next time.
Anyway, we were both pretty happy with the climb - it was my first 22 period and Graham's first trad 22, and I haven't yet led a trad 20 or 21!
No pictures this time, sorry, but when we go back for round two we'll get some.
